Wrist and stones, accessorising with substance

for the modern man of style

I'm a big fan of accessorising, but not just with anything; timeless style needs to have substance. You will be as cheap as what you put on your wrists so choose wisely. The material, quality and craftsmanship need to be balanced, because not everything expensive is good quality and not everything that costs less is less valuable.

The whole idea of accessorising for me is to express my style, and every tiny detail sends a message, but even better? A story...

Unlike glass or other synthetic materials, stones and gems are not manufactured in factories, well at least the authentic ones. Imagine some of these precious minerals take years and ages to manifest in nature. No detail is identical, and each piece cannot be found in the same place again. The story of time and nature is imprinted and formed into every stone and crystal.

I'm lucky to have this chance to feature and collaborate with ms Shu, creator of Covet Crystals Jewelry. I always find utter charm in handmade craft bourne out of passion. Her inspired pieces beautifully accompany the wrists of the modern, passionate and fashionable woman. When she told me about her concept of collaborating for a men's collection, I was excited by the idea to preview her upcoming venture into men's accessories.

I worked with her on the initial design, and we've created a unique pair that both reflect our aesthetic preference in balance.

Ms Shu's creations are not just for sparkles as she shares her knowledge in metaphysical crystal healing. Each stone embodies its own unique properties that benefit the bearer, it can be combined with more stones for a desired effect. Talk about customising with substance, right?
