Easy-Fruit-Tart

April 6, 2018

Want to impress without slaving in the kitchen all day?

This tart recipe I found is GOLD. I aced it the first time I baked it, few ingredients and easy steps that makes it impossible to screw this up. But this isn't one of those simple recipes that taste like basic, I had to restrain myself from devouring the entire batch.

Let's get down to business

You'll need a few things, literally almost made from scratch:

- FRUIT (Let's try kiwi for now.) It's for toppings and decoration, use as much as you want.

- WHITE BREAD Softer and fluffier is bettah.

- 1 CUP WHIP CREAM

- HALF CUP MILK

- 40G POWDERED SUGAR

- 1 EGG

- 1 EXTRA EGG YOLK

You'll need an oven and muffin tray of course. ;)

Begin with the crust

This part is fun.

Heat the oven to 190ºC while you do this step unless you are patient enough to wait later.

Recipe is estimated for at least 6 tarts, adjust if you greedy and want to double-up.

Each slice of white bread needs to be flattened, use a bottle or rolling pin.

Flatter is bettah.

Cut out a circle by slicing out the edges from the super flattened bread.

Insert those in a greased muffin tray and BAKE FOR 10 MINUTES.

Take them out after, when they become hard btw.

So you have 10 Minutes to fix the rest in a custard filling

(You can choose to put the fruit in the mixture if it is sliced into bits.)

Pour the custard mixture into the crust and top with fruits.

Back to the oven they go for 20 MINUTES.

What happens after is magic.

The custard thickens and sets into a golden delight as the fruit's juice adds flavour to it.

Add more fruits or whipped cream, your creativity is the only thing stopping you.

Let it cool but serve warm.
